Product Description
A handsome and substantial antique Edwardian mahogany open armchair in Chippendale style design dating from circa 1910. With carved back splat, standing on elegantly carved cabriole legs with ball and claw feet. The stuff-over seat has been recently reupholstered in a quality soft light turquoise leather and finished with studs. Comfortable and sturdy, would make a wonderful desk chair.

Condition Report:
Some slight give to the arms. An old mend to one of the arms (see photo). Frame solid and sturdy. Newly reupholstered. Appears to have been recently restored and the frame refinished. Some old screws either side of the shoe to hold it in place to the seat rail. Other wear and marks commensurate with age.
