Product Description
A good quality antique Georgian bedside chest in mahogany dating from circa 1800. It has a galleried tray top above 4 graduated drawers with brass drop handles. The top two drawers have dividers and sections for organising items. It has beautifully figured mahogany to the front and stands on square feet. Lovely age and patina to the wood. This piece would have originally started life as a commode / chamber pot cupboard and has been converted into a chest at some point. A high quality piece it would make a lovely bedside cabinet, hall cupboard or storage chest.

Good colour and patina. Small sections of veneer missing to drawers. A couple of gaps in the wood to the sides and wear to the back. Other general wear and marks commensurate with age. It would have stated life as a commode and has been converted into a side cabinet/chest.
