A handsome antique Regency mahogany open armchair dating from circa 1800. The curved top rail over inlaid horizontal splat, reeded down-curved arms on baluster turned supports, overstuffed seat in pale green and red striped needlework, raised on ring turned tapering front legs. Good colour and patina. A beautiful statement piece that would make a handsome desk chair.
