Product Description
A spectacular antique Victorian Chippendale revival desk chair in carved and ebonised mahogany dating from circa 1890. Extensively carved with pierced back splat and carving to back rails, arms and arm supports. It stands Queen Anne legs with acanthus leaf carved knees and ball and claw feet. It has been newly reupholstered in a self-pattern cream brocade fabric.

Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy with good patina. Newly reupholstered. A little “creaky” when you sit in it – but solid and sturdy. Some old worm holes to seat rails which have been treated with worm killer as a precaution.
