A handsome antique William IV mahogany armchair, having a broad top rail above a foliate carved tie rail above a drop-in seat on reeded and turned legs. It has been newly re-covered in cream scroll brocade fabric. A beautiful statement piece that would make a wonderful desk chair. Dating from circa 1835.

Solid and sturdy with wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered over existing uphosltery which is in fair condition. An old split to the side of the front leg – but solid.
