Product Description
A large antique Victorian overmantle mirror later painted in an ebonised black painted finish dating from circa 1880. It has a moulded d-shaped frame with acanthus border with egg and dart moulding. It retains its original mirror plate which is nicely aged, with slight foxing and loss of silvering; with most loss to the bottom corners. With original backing boards.

Wear and marks commensurate with age. The frame has been hand painted in Annie Sloan Athenion Black chalk paint and given a wax finish. Mirror plate is original with some general age related wear, light foxing and loss of silvering in places, mainly to the bottom corners. With original backing boards.
