A magnificent small antique Regency pembroke work table or side table in beautifully figured mahogany dating from circa 1820. It is of delightful proportions with a well figured top and two drop leaves. This small Regency table has a single drawer to one side and a dummy drawer on the opposite so it can be placed in the centre of a room if desired. The oak lined drawer boasts a brass line escutcheon, a brass lock and comes with a working key. It stands on elegantly turned legs capped with brass castors. In good condition, this piece would grace any room; it could be used as a laptop table or would work equally well as a lamp table.

Solid and sturdy. Wear and marks commensurate with age – with a few marks to the top. It has some old worm holes to the underneath.
