A substantial oak desk chair dating from the early 20th century. In solid oak with a deep top rail over 9 thin vertical splats, with a shaped saddle seat and gently curved legs united by cross stretchers. Solid and sturdy, it would make a very stylish desk chair.

Solid and sturdy. General wear and marks commensurate with age. Screws visible to sides, back of legs and sides of arms, which have been filled and are a slightly different colour – see photos. It appears to have a french polish/light varnish to the surface.
