A handsome vintage oak double bed dating from circa 1920s. The footboard and headboard with vertical slats flanked by barley twist columns, the central splats with raised diamond motifs decorated with beaded edging. In good original condition, the solid oak frame with good patina. It has an iron vono frame with screw in rails, which are easily assembled or dis-assembled. Comprising of a headboard, footboard and iron rails. Takes a standard double mattress. No base or mattress supplied – slatted bases can be purchased online.
