A vintage solid oak bookcase with glazed doors by Waring and Gillow Ltd. In a lovely aged oak it has two doors and 2 fully adjustable shelves to the interior and comes with working lock and key. It stands on turned legs joined by a cross stretcher. To the top is a pediment and it has applied carvings to the door fronts. A high quality and elegant vintage bookcase that would look stunning in a hall, study or living room. Dating from circa 1930, the lock is stamped Waring and Gillow and it has a label to the back which reads: “Guaranteed Design & Manufactured at our Lancaster Factory established 1695 Waring & Gillow Ltd” along with a number stamped to the top.

£34.95 flat delivery charge to all areas of mainland England/Wales - Additional items in the same delivery are delivered free of charge.
£49.95 per item to mainland Scotland (excludes highlands & islands).
