A handsome pair of antique oak carver armchairs dating from circa 1910. A good pair of chairs with tall rail backs with beading details and good colour to the oak frames. They feature curved arms with barley twist supports and stand on barley twist legs united by H-cross stretchers. The drop in seats are in their original brown Rexine type material.
Good colour and patina. Fairly solid and sturdy – some slight movement. Some wear to the seats, would benefit reupholstery. Nail head visible to one arm.
