Product Description
A magnificent set of 4 antique Victorian balloon back chairs in beautifully figured walnut with padded backs. A really good quality set of chairs in well figured mellow walnut, with shaped top rails with upholstered oval shaped backs. They stand on turned and fluted legs. Newly reupholstered, solid and sturdy and in good original condition. Would make a wonderful desk chair or bedroom chair.
With an interested original paper label underneath one of the chairs which reads “John Manuel & Son Manufacturers Devonshire Cabinet Works Upholstery, Carpet, Brass and Iron bedstead Warehouse, Sheffield.”

Good original condition. Beautiful warm colour and patina. Solid frames. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly reupholstered (horsehair). A few small marks to the fabric in places.

£34.95 flat delivery charge to all areas of mainland England/Wales - Additional items in the same delivery are delivered free of charge.
£49.95 per item to mainland Scotland (excludes highlands & islands).
