A magnificent pair of antique Victorian brass fire dogs or fire iron rests dating from circa 1895. Very decorative, these stylish andirons feature sunflowers to the tops, turned stems and stand on shaped legs. In good condition, highly polished ideal for resting fire irons on. They come with a similar set of Victorian fire irons comprising of a pair of tongs, a poker and a shovel all with fancy turned handles, the shovel with attractive pierced detailing.
