Product Description
A superb antique late 19th Century French Kingwood double bed in Rococo or Louis XV style. It boasts a superbly carved crest on the headboard which is flanked by carved roses over a moulded serpentine top rail. The footboard features leaf carved cabriole feet and it has elegantly shaped side rails. The whole piece is in a wonderfully figured Kingwood veneers with good original patina. Comes with pine slatted base to allow for a double mattress (mattress not included).

Good colour and patina. General wear and marks commensurate with age. There are some old worm holes to the headboard and footboard. Also it has some veneers missing to the side rails and a small section of veneer missing to the lower middle section of the footboard.

If you require a two man delivery service please inform us so we can give you an individual delivery quote. There is an option on the checkout page where you can add special notes about your delivery.
DELIVERY FEES
£34.95 flat delivery charge to all areas of mainland England/Wales - Additional items in the same delivery are delivered free of charge.
£49.95 per item to mainland Scotland (excludes highlands & islands).
